Description: Miss Ruthie will teach students how to create a ceramic skull luminary/tea candle holder. Students will learn simple handbuilding/slab-building  and sculpting techniques, simple glaze techniques, how to use a variety of clay tools, and gain an understanding of clay and its properties. Each student will make a skull luminary in class, and will decorate and glaze for a once-fire. Students are encouraged to bring snacks and drinks to the class and relax while making art.
