In this 3-week course, Miss Ruthie will teach students hand-building and sculpting basics, clay tools and properties to create your very own ceramic watercolor set for your home studio. In the first week, each student will hand-build a watercolor palette. Week two, students will make a water cup with a brush rest, and a brush stand. Week three, students will glaze and decorate all three pieces. Pieces will then be glaze-fired and ready for pickup two weeks after the end of class.Students are encouraged to bring snacks and drinks to the class and relax while making art.
