Miss Ruthie will teach students how to create this ceramic, dry-erase fridge list that looks like a page from a notebook. A nice addition to any refrigerator or magnetic surface where you need to jot down a few notes! Students will learn simple slab and underglaze techniques, how to use a variety of clay tools, and gain an understanding of clay and its properties. Each student will make one fridge list, and glaze and decorate that night to be ready for a once-firing process. Students will have the choice to take home magnets to attach after the piece is fired, or make their piece so it can be hung on a wall without magnets. Students are encouraged to bring snacks and drinks to the class and relax while making art.
