Miss Ruthie will teach students how to create a ceramic herb stripper cup. A nice addition to any DIY kitchen! This is an opportunity to make an everyday household item into a custom piece of art made for just your space. Students will learn simple slab-building and/or pinch-pot techniques, how to use a variety of clay tools, and gain an understanding of clay and its properties. Each student will make one herb stripper cup, and glaze it that night to be ready for a once-firing process. Students are encouraged to bring snacks and drinks to the class and relax while making art.
