Miss Ruthie will teach students how to create decorative ceramic eggs with air-dry clay.  A nice, last-minute addition to your seasonal decor for your home before your family gathering, or a gift for a host/hostess! This is an opportunity to make an everyday household item into a custom piece of art made for just your space. Students will learn simple slab and mold techniques, how to use a variety of clay tools, and gain an understanding of air-dry clay and its properties. Each student will make as many decorative eggs as class time allows, and decorate that night to be ready to take home for the Easter weekend. Students are encouraged to bring snacks and drinks to the class and relax while making art.
