With clay students will learn how to construct cups, by using a soft slab construction technique. Students will begin by rolling out slabs of clay. They then will be able to add stamps or any texture they like to the slab. After the textures have been applied, students will use a stencil to cut out their cup shape. I will demonstrate how to connect and seal the seams to these cups and voila! They have their own hand-built cups!
